Current Position/experience: General Manager (22 years), Ex-RTA Qld Director, SEQ Indigenous Housing Chairman, Golddoc IWG , JP Qual.

Community Organisations need stability, sometimes the decisions are made for the best interests of all community, I have seen many Organisation’s fail and get wound up due to inappropriate Corporate Governance, My 4 year Tenure on the RTA Board with its Professional development and exposure to exceptional Governance practices have enabled me to share the experience, Holding Positions on CDEP Board and various others has provided a strong footing to Business and Community Organisations Business practices.

Family History: Lived in Beaudesert for 48 years. Did all my high school and met my partner, had our 4 daughters, who are Mununjali.

Interests include:  Puzzles, bushwalks, movies, travel, family

Director: Amy Blow

Family history: I am Amy Blow, my background is Mununjali, with strong connections to Minjungbal and Kombumerri countries. I also have South Sea Islander and Scottish, English and Irish blood. I grew up in Beaudesert with a strong family connection to the Gold Coast. I am one of 4 sisters and love spending time with my family and mob. . 

Favorite things to do: I enjoy reading, hanging out with my son and dogs and love being in Nature- bushwalking, camping and paddling

Employment History: I have worked a lot within my local community, and across South-East Qld. I have been in and out of the Outdoor Recreation industry for 15 years, and love connecting mob to each other and being on country. I incorporate the outdoors into my work and everything I do and use culture as a means to express myself. I have experience in outdoor recreation, and  Youth work and believe that culture and identity are at the forefront in supporting mob to work together for the best outcomes
